About the Aeolian Tee (and Dress)

The Aeolian Tee Pattern is the perfect boxy cotton t-shirt, as tall as it is wide.  It has a square shaped sleeve, strategically inserted into the armhole for maximum 3D body. Sized down, the Aeolian makes a perfect sheath: neat, but not tight. It’s excellent in a glamour knit for a super clean, mini, cocktail dress. Sized up it responds with mega drapes and kaftan-esque volume.

The Fabric

You can use a range of knits for the Aeolian, from light cotton to french terry.  The neckband can be done in the same fabric as the body (for the narrow option), although this works best in light knits.  For heavier knits use a contrast rib for the neckband, for the narrow or wider neckband option.

Sizing

The Aeolian Tee or Dress has a size range of 6-18, which relates to a bust of 81cm – 111cm measurement (31 7/8" to 43 3/4”)
