About the Romero Trousers

The Romero Trouser pattern is one of the more recent Pauline Alice releases.  It was launched alongside the Vera shirt, and together they make a beautiful ensemble.  These sailor style pants have a high and fitted waist, and a wide leg.  They close with two rows of buttons on the front, and the pockets are hidden inside the closure.  You can make these as shorts or ankle length.  While they are styled here for summer, the pants would also be great for winter.    

The Fabric

For your Romero Trousers consider medium weight fabrics such as cotton or linen canvas, gabardine, twill, denim, fine wool, and velour.  Cloth Edit also recommends our organic hemp and cotton.

Sizing

This pattern is for sizes 34-48 (Waist: 62cm – 90; Hips: 86cm - 114). See the image of the back of the pattern for finished garment measurement sizes. For example, the finished hips for size 48 is 120cm (47”). 

Level of Difficulty

Pauline Alice rates the Romero Trousers as "two scissors", indicating it is for an intermediate sewer.
