'Persephone' Lilac & Sienna - 100% Viscose

It may be winter here in the Antipodes, but when you see amazing prints like 'Persephone' you have to snap them up;-).  This stunning watercolour-style, botanical print features softer renditions of tropical foliage and blooms.  I was drawn to this trio of prints due to the amazing colour combinations (see below).  They have a black background, which I know so many of you love:  it's both versatile and striking.  The cloth is a viscose poplin, so it's not too slippery and is perfect for an array of garments like blouses, skirts and dresses. 

There are three colourways of this print:
Persephone – Blue & Green
This colourway has a huge array of greens (olive, pale green, pine green), blue, teal, aqua, cerulean, pale pink, cream and purple. 

Persephone - Lilac & Sienna
What a colour palette! Please note that the orange portions of the print appear brighter in these images than they are in real life ;-).  It was tricky to colour-correct this.  The leaves are a more obvious combination of browns like sienna, chocolate, and tan, as well as orange.  You will also see lilac pink, green, plum, and maroon. 

Persephone - Pink and Green

Pink and Green are a colour combo that always excites Cloth Edit customers.  I adore this Persephone colourway due to the array of greens in the prints (from olive to pine forest, to variations of chartreuse).  You will also see a variety of pinks (from bright pink to dusty pink), chocolate brown, and beautiful mottled blue.

Cloth Care:

Viscose is a fibre that is derived from wood pulp, making it a natural fabric that is more breathable than cotton. It is also known as Rayon.

Please allow 5% shrinkage for this fabric as viscose has a tendency to shrink in the first wash.

Machine washable at 30 degrees, cool iron and hang out to dry straight after washing, please note when you wash viscose it can become stiffer when wet but the softness and drape will return as it dries. Dry in shade and inside out.
