The colour palettes of the two pretty 'Pond' prints are dreamy. For 'Sunrise' you have the emergence of fresh green, soft aqua and pale teal, blue and pink, alongside brighter blue and pink, with tiny moments of orange and white. At 'Sunset' there is an amazing array of dusky pinks and lavender alongside the brighter blues and pinks, with moments of yellow and deeper browns. The loose, painterly design seems to suit the vibrancy of our summer months. I'm imagining cafe brunches or evening dinners at your favourite local restaurant. These would also suit blouses and shirts, teamed with denim, for the cooler months.
This is the same fabric as several other recent print releases. It’s a 70% Viscose and 30% Linen blend. The weave is on the finer side with a little texture from the linen, and you can see this in some of the close-up images. The drape is akin to a light-medium weight, drapey linen. This is wonderful for all manner of garments: blouses, shirts, dresses, skirts, pants and shorts.
