I've been on the hunt for a great chambray that's perfect for both shirts (in the cooler months), and chic light weight denim dresses. The new Atelier Jupe 'Bertie' shirt and 'Martha' dress were inspiration for this search. There are three classic chambray hues: a dark, a medium, and a light.
If you love wearing jeans, 'double denim' looks amazing, and the previous fashion 'no-no' (if we ever paid attention ;-)) is now a 'yes-yes'. Pick your favourite denim colour or mix them in a fun patch-style shirt. Chambray shirts also look great with contrasting top stitching, and you can find the Guterman Top Stitching thread in the store.
The cloth is soft and smooth with a slight texture, which you should glean from some of the images. When you do the crush test it crumples rather than produces lasting creases, and you can smooth out most of these with the palm of your hand. It's a true chambray with white and blue yarns, creating a classic denim look.

Cloth Care:
Gentle cold machine or hand wash, dry in shade and do not tumble dry. Spot test for ironing. Dry clean if preferred.
