Cloth Edit has been searching for a fabulous cotton stretch corduroy for pants, skirts and cool jackets, and 'Weekender' ticks all the boxes. We already have a lovely super soft stretch baby cord for shirts and dresses, but 'Weekender' is more 'bottom weight'. Having noted that, I've got a 'Weekender' corduroy dress in mind for winter which I'm excited about.
This cord is soft against the skin, and the textured upper side is also wonderfully soft. It has about 20-25% stretch, which is going to be perfect for comfortable trousers and give your jackets a good amount of 'give'. It is an eight-wale corduroy so it's not a big/chunky wale, but one of the finer 'bottom' weight corduroy gauges.
'Weekender' comes in: Purple, Nori Green, Navy, Berry, Navy, Winter White, and Mid Denim Blue

Cloth Care:
In order to preserve your fabric as well as possible, wash the fabric before sewing.
- Choose a mild detergent without bleach.
- Wash your fabric with a delicate or silk program at a maximum temperature of 30°
- Gentle spin (max 1000 rpm)
- Line Dry in shade (smooth it out when it comes out of the machine)
- Do Not Tumble Dry
- Iron at medium temperature
- Use a wet cloth and steam iron to remove creases in corduroy. You may need to iron on the 'wrong side' to help with this too.
